Progress, But Slowly...

I am making progress on the Easy V Neck, finished the first sleeve and am about 5 inches into the second, I also sewed in all the ends so once I've cast off this sleeve I just have 2 ends to sew in from it and it's all done and dusted. I'm going to get back to work on it as soon as I've posted this.

Yesterday we had a 'duvet day', none of us got dressed and we sat about and watched films and were generally lazy, it was great! We watched Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Enduring Love (DH and I while DS slept, neither of us were that impressed, nor were we impressed with The Virgin Suicides we watched the night before)and then Smokey and the Bandit which was on tv and good fun, they should write more specific film songs nowadays, 'we've a long way to go and a short time to get there' was really catchy! I alternated knitting the V Neck and 2 pairs of socks, the Ziggy Zaggy ones and a new pair using a cool stitch called Spine Stitch. I would love to get the Spine Stitch ones done by Halloween and post the pattern but as the stitch is a little hard on the hands they're slow progress unfortunately!

At the moment it seems to be taking me 3 goes with sock yarn before I figure out what it wants to be. The Ziggy Zaggy were the most successful I've had of late, I saw the stitch and immediately knew which yarn to use and it worked out, but the daisy socks will just not work at all for some reason and the yarn I'm using for the Spine Stitch socks was cast on for 2 different patterns before this one, not sure what's going on with that...

I have managed to be loyal to the V Neck besides the socks and 2 rows of the Sheep Shawl, although it has meant that I've done less knitting in the last few days!

Right off to get this done and off the WIP list!
