I've Just Got Hats
This week has not been an emotionally good one for me. I don't tend to post about the split as I'm sure it would be pretty dull for everyone to hear about it and generally I am positive about my life and getting on with things. However I've had to deal with the fact that my ex is now dating again which I have to admit threw me completely out of whack and hasn't made me the most pleasant person to be around recently, I'm even getting a bit fed up with myself which is never good.
So, I've not done any sewing to speak of except for a Halloween costume for Jim which I will get a photograph of when he gets home from school as it is their party today because they are having half term next week (we won't do trick or treating). I've also done no knitting besides hats for my Brother In Law for Christmas, so far I've made 2 using the London Beanie pattern that's easy to find on Ravelry (I had to cast on a lot more stitches than the pattern said which I will detail when I get some pictures to post) and I'm now on my 3rd version of the pattern using the original numbers for a 5-8 year old for my Mother to put in a charity shoebox she's doing for a child in a poorer country.
To add to the irritating things going on this week my Blogger Pro account has run out so I'm unable to write the dates on the back of the 127 photographs I got from Photobox this morning and it's near impossible to remember how old a child is in the photo or when exactly we went on his school trip so that I can put them in order. I need another photo album too, I was sure I still had some room but apparently not.
Life is trying to test me at the moment it seems and sometimes I pass and other times I fail miserably but I'm still wading along and I hope to get back onto the crafting path after half term ends.
